Family Fundays - May 28 & Sept. 24

Family Funday

Saturday, May 28 from 4 pm to 8 pm, followed by a free showing of The Good Dinosaur at 8:15pm

Columbus Commons will kick-off the 2016 event season with a day of free and ticketed family entertainment. Families can enjoy carousel rides, inflatable games, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and much more! Many activities are free and some activities require a $5 wristband for unlimited fun. Detailed list of activities coming soon!

New this year, we're partnering with Autism Speaks to open the event at 3 pm exclusively for families with children who have sensory sensitivity. We'll be keeping the crowds small so they can enjoy all of the normal event activities in a less overwhelming environment.

Stick around for a free movie at 8:15 pm – the family-friendly classic film, The Good Dinosaur, rated PG - presented by UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Blankets and chairs are welcome; please leave coolers at home. Food trucks will be onsite, and the Commons' cafes Tortilla & Jeni’s will also be open.

Stop by the Info Tent near the Carousel beginning at 7:30 pm to pick up your bag of complimentary popcorn, thanks to UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, for the free movie. Popcorn is available while supplies last.
